There are many types of being stuck, one of them is definitely being stuck in life.
There are plenty situations when you are lost, don't know what to do, don't know whether this is for you and so on.
For this I follow the very simple advice that I discovered myself and later found a similar one in the book "Rock Your Life", which is written by my rolemodel - Rudolf Schenker, founder of the German hard-rock band Scorpions (great minds really think alike).
The advice is simple: relax and don't push too hard. You will get unstuck when it's time to get unstuck. Don't try to make it earlier than it is supposed to happen.
More often you can get stuck at work. This is very common for me, especially when I look what speakers to bring to the conferences. Here you also have to relax and understand that speaker curation is a slow process and that great ideas cannot be born in your head alone.
To bring the inspiration back here I employ various tools: science and business magazines, TEDTalks, other conferences line-ups, conversations with people. When you mix this with a spice of time and your radar open all the time, be sure, the result will be great!
These are few TED and TEDx talks that help me get unstuck:
Kinglsey Aikins for his CASE (copy and steal everything) method:
Pico Iyer for saying my thoughts out loud:
Ken Robinson for getting me hooked with TED.com and passion for education:
Sheryl Sandberg for putting a new light one the meaning of women having executive leadership skills and not being "bossy":
I also believe that being unstuck means doing what you love and here's the entire TEDTalk playlist on how to find the right job (and also one you love): http://bit.ly/15xzhBE.
